Pantea’s Bio

Hey, I’m Pantea — born in Tehran, now calling Montreal home! I’m definitely someone who’s taken a “non-linear” career path. I’ve dipped my toes in engineering and telecommunication [don’t forget that I am Iranian. I was supposed to be either a Doctor or an engineer!]  After that I got my Masters degree in E-commerce and marketing, and even got a Pilates instructor certificate. It is only after immigrating to Canada that I started getting closer to myself and studying art!

My interest in art started in Fashion design so In 2015, I graduated in fashion design from LaSalle College and somehow managed to be one of Canada’s top designers in the Telio Lux contest.

It wasn’t untill I discovered photography that I understood what my passion was.

In 2023, I organized a photography workshop with CDAH organization where I got to share my passion with others. Also organized multiple photography workshops and headshot clinics for Kids and adults.

In 2024, I received the DémART Grant from the “Conseil des arts de Montréal” and curated Identity Through Photography — a photo exhibition for people who did not have a platform to share their stories. The project designed for immigrant women and LGBTQ+ communities in Montreal, and it gained attention from artists, and media (CBC TV). For me the real win was how the exhibition gave a voice to those who deserved to be seen.

In 2025, I Graduated from Dawson college prestigious Commercial photography program-My final portfolio was a surreal approach with deep take trying to challenge borders of fashion, luxury and what is considered beauty.

Now, I’m a freelance Photographer, retoucher and a Video Editor.  If you are looking for projects to create images that aren’t just pretty but also tell a story and make impact — let’s chat.
